For the past two decades, I have dedicated my career to helping individuals and organizations tap into the power of their voices. I have an extensive background and experience in speech pathology, voice coaching, and higher education. My services focus on speaking voice coaching, consulting, and professional development, fostering confidence, collaboration, and authentic communication.

I feel much more comfortable over the phone and sound more professional.

It is crucial for my job to sound professional and confident over the phone. However, I am not a native English speaker, and I have never taken pronunciation classes, so I did not sound as good as I would like to. And Shulunda has helped me a lot!
My main takeaway from the course: didn't breathe when I was talking. And it was subconscious. I think it was the main reason why my voice sounded shaky over the phone. Now I know HOW to breathe and control my breath. I haven't even realized before that it's something that affects the voice so much.
And before I just didn't know how to pronounce some sounds. Most of my English teachers were not native speakers, so I have never had anyone correct me. It didn't take long to get sounds right (some are tougher than others), but practice makes it better.
Shulunda is fun and interesting to work with. She is always prepared for classes, and very attentive to students' needs.

This was my FIRST event where I wasn’t hoarse. And that’s all thanks to Shulie! She’s the best vocal coach around. And she was with me the entire event making sure my voice was in tip top shape! Before working with her, I legit thought getting hoarse was just required when you’re doing a high intensity event….y’all, she was exceptional!
If I even felt a tingle, she had an exercise I could do from my suite to the stage that got me all the way together! I was literally singing while playing basketball on stage! She’s the GOAT!
